Bill Bethea - Founder/ Owner
Bill is the owner of PPH. He served as an associate Scout for the HOUSTON ASTROS in 2008/2009. Bill is the former pitching coach at NJCU as well as a former minor league player. He played professionally in the Central Baseball League (AA Independent) for the Ozark Ducks. He has been doing private baseball instruction for the last 20 years as well as instructing at various camps and clinics around the state. Bill has performed and astounding amount of private instruction eclipsing 40,000 hours. He has also spent 5 years in the Health and Fitness Industry as a Certified Personal Trainer where he has strength trained athletes to develop speed and power. Bill’s idea to focus on combining his baseball knowledge and strength training expertise is the cornerstone of PPH BASEBALL.
Dan Intili - Director of Hitting Matt Cleary
While at St. Joseph’s High School (Metuchen), Matt was on 1st Team All-County, 2nd Team All-State (Parochial Division) 1st base by The Star-Ledger. He was also 1st Team All-Area 1st base by The Home News Tribune. Matt continued his baseball career in Alvernia College where he was Freshman of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference 1st base and ranked Top 10 in the country in HRs (11) and Slugging Percentage (.874). At William Paterson University, Matt ranked 2nd in the NJAC with .412 BA versus conference opponents and 2nd Team All-Conference 1st Base. He has been a baseball instructor for the past three years, coached 2006 Junior Varsity baseball team at St. Joseph’s High School (Metuchen) where his team finished 3rd in the county. |
Mike O' Halloran Mike is a huge part of the PPH Baseball family. He previous worked for Cal Ripken baseball touring the USA for a year teaching clinics in 20 differents states. Mike has 2 degrees from Rutgers University and teaches a wide array of skills at PPH Baseball. Mike is our Jack of all Trades teaching all skills! Mike is enjoying his 3rd year with PPH Baseball. |
Shawn Renner
A graduate from the College of New Jersey. He is part of our team and clinic staff and his knowledge is a real asset. Shawn played his high school ball at Edison High School as well as played his college ball at TCNJ. Shawn brings an engineering mind to the staff with his great ideas and well thought out plans. Shawn also will be coaching one of our 15u teams for the 2020 season! |
Dave Butrico
Dave was a standout athete in both Baseball and Wrestling in High School with a chance to do both in college. A severe knee injury cut both his college careers short however Dave has continued to coach for the last 10 years! Dave is a great addition to the staff and teaches all skills. |
Frank Bilancio
Frank a former standout player at Burlington County College, who continued his career at Division 2 St. Edwards in Texas. Franks career was cut short due to injury but has been coaching with PPH since his dasy at Burlington CC. Frank brings a great spirit and expertise along with great humor and knowledge to the staff! Frank helps with clinics, lessons and team training ! |
